EOS Demo
I have been waiting to get a camera like this for
a long time. Prompted by a special family event and funded by a little tax refund I was
able to acquire this fabulous camera in October of 2003 and am now able to
take some amazing shots of not only our family and birds but those fine neighbors in
the trees outside and all around South Florida.
This section is a little strange but hopefully
will be a wonderful experience for my viewing friends. The thumbnail
photos below are representative of larger pictures shot with the Canon EOS
in a larger format than would be used on a normal web page. When clicked
the thumbnails advance directly to a standard size but reduced resolution
of the original RAW photo data (RAW data is HUGE and would take a long
time to DL even with DSL). You may notice a few jpeg artifacts (grain) but
the overall compression is not too bad to achieve a realistic download
speed. The original pictures are 3072x2048 and extreme fine quality. The
final shots are a little larger due to the frame with a minor reduced
visual resolution to accommodate the download speeds.

This is Stanley with his cute fuzzy little Quaker face. He
is a beautiful bird. |

Tash has a look all of his own. His eyes are a little
different than the others with a little thicker white area surrounding the
eye. |

Miracle baby is a flollopy, cuddly little thing in Mommy's
hands. I can't get too close. |

This is the famed "Quaker Stare" |

Miracle posing for a picture. Mom is holding the camera so
he's OK with that. |

I think this is Miracle but it may be Scooter. Both will
fly for me and look similar in the air. It's a little soft focus but still
not bad. It shows the quickness of the auto focus of Rebel. |

Depending on the browser setup you have, you may
need to [COPY] and [PASTE] the enlargement onto another jpeg viewer to see
the actual photo. Some browsers resize the jpeg to fit your screen and
that degrades the actual quality of the shot.
Please remember that all the photos are
copyright Davey Digital/QuakerVille and are not to be used anywhere else
without written permission. The photos are watermarked and traceable.
